Kudankulam Nuclear Power Project Update

The Kudankulam Nuclear Power Project (KKNPP) currently has two operational units (KKNPP-1 & 2) generating a total of 2000 MW. Power allocation from these units is distributed among several states, with Karnataka receiving 442 MW, Kerala 266 MW, Tamil Nadu 925 MW, and Puducherry 67 MW, while 300 MW remains unallocated. Future units (KKNPP-3, 4, 5, and 6) are under construction, aiming to increase the total capacity to 6000 MW. This information was provided by Dr. Jitendra Singh in a Lok Sabha reply.
