KVIC Disburses Over Rs 300 Crore in Subsidies to Service Sector Beneficiaries
The Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) has disbursed a margin money subsidy of over Rs 300 crore to 11,480 service sector beneficiaries under the Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP). The event, held virtually from New Delhi, was led by KVIC Chairman Manoj Kumar, who emphasized the scheme's role in promoting self-reliance and employment across India. The PMEGP has facilitated the establishment of over 10 lakh micro enterprises, providing significant financial support and employment opportunities.
