Launch of 7 New Trains in Bihar to Boost Connectivity

Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw and Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary inaugurated seven new trains in Bihar, including three Amrit Bharat Express trains. This expansion increases the total Amrit Bharat Express services to 30 nationwide, with 26 originating from Bihar. The initiative aims to enhance connectivity within the state and connect Bihar with other regions, including Telangana, Rajasthan, and Delhi. The annual railway budget for Bihar has significantly increased from ₹1,000 crore in 2014 to ₹10,000 crore in 2025, with major projects underway to improve railway infrastructure.
