Launch of 'Adi Sanskriti' Digital Platform for Tribal Welfare
The Indian Ministry of Tribal Affairs has launched a digital platform named 'Adi Sanskriti' to preserve and promote tribal art and culture. Debuting on September 10, 2025, the platform offers a marketplace called 'Adi Haat' and an educational section with courses on tribal art forms. Approved funds total ₹246 million, with about ₹65 million spent thus far. This initiative is designed to integrate tribal artisans into broader markets, supporting their crafts and providing learning opportunities through a proposed second-phase e-learning platform, 'TribalEx.'
