Launch of Bharat Gen: India's First Multimodal AI for Indian Languages
Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh launched 'Bharat Gen', India's first indigenously developed AI-based Multimodal Large Language Model (LLM) for Indian languages at the BharatGen Summit. The initiative aims to create ethical, inclusive, and multilingual AI solutions, enhancing sectors like healthcare and education. It integrates text, speech, and image modalities in 22 languages, promoting grassroots governance and innovation. The summit also featured a Generative AI Hackathon to engage student innovators in solving real-world problems.
