Launch of Central Waqf Portal by Ministry of Minority Affairs

The Ministry of Minority Affairs (MoMA) has launched a Central Waqf Portal aimed at enhancing transparency, accountability, and efficiency in Waqf property management. A two-day national training workshop was held in New Delhi, where Master Trainers from various states received hands-on training on the portal's features. The portal, developed under the Waqf (Amendment) Act, 2025, will serve as a centralized repository for Waqf property records and includes a three-tier verification system to minimize discrepancies.
