Launch of Digital Agriculture Mission

The Government of India has approved the Digital Agriculture Mission, aimed at creating a Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI) for agriculture. This initiative includes the development of AgriStack, Krishi Decision Support System (KDSS), and a Soil Fertility & Profile Map to enhance the digital agriculture ecosystem. The mission focuses on providing farmers with timely access to reliable crop-related information and facilitating digital solutions for better agricultural practices. Additionally, the Per Drop More Crop (PDMC) scheme promotes water efficiency through micro-irrigation systems, offering financial assistance to farmers for installation.
