Launch of Employees’ Enrolment Scheme 2025 by Ministry of Labour & Employment

The Ministry of Labour & Employment has introduced the Employees’ Enrolment Campaign-2025, a special initiative to enable employers to register employees who have not been enrolled in the Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF) between July 1, 2017, and October 31, 2025. The scheme runs from November 1, 2025, to April 30, 2026, allowing employers to rectify past compliance issues. Eligible employees will not have their contributions deducted, while employers must pay arrears, administrative charges, and a small penal fee. This move aims to increase social security and transparency.
