Launch of eShram One-Stop Solution for Unorganised Workers
The Ministry of Labour and Employment has launched the eShram portal to create a National Database of Unorganised Workers, providing them with a Universal Account Number (UAN). As of July 2025, over 30.94 crore workers have registered, including 85.86 lakh in Andhra Pradesh. The eShram One-Stop Solution integrates various social security schemes, allowing workers to access benefits through a single portal. Fourteen schemes from different ministries have been integrated to enhance support for unorganised workers.
