The Ministry of Culture is set to launch the 'Gyan Bharatam' initiative aimed at preserving, digitising, and disseminating India's manuscript heritage. The initiative will be inaugurated during the first-ever Gyan Bharatam International Conference from September 11-13, 2025, in New Delhi, gathering over 1,100 participants including scholars and cultural practitioners. The mission focuses on creating a National Digital Repository, conservation of manuscripts, and enhancing global knowledge exchange through partnerships and technology.
