Launch of Maha MedTech Mission to Boost India's Medical Technology Sector

The Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF), in collaboration with ICMR and the Gates Foundation, has launched the Maha MedTech Mission aimed at enhancing India's medical technology ecosystem. The initiative seeks to accelerate innovation, reduce reliance on imports, and ensure equitable access to affordable medical technologies. Funding support ranging from ₹5–25 crore per project will be available for various entities, including startups and academic institutions. The mission will cover a wide range of medical devices and diagnostics, with a focus on priority health areas. The application process for concept notes is open until November 7, 2025.
