Launch of National Cooperative Database by Ministry of Cooperation

The Ministry of Cooperation, Government of India, has developed a comprehensive National Cooperative Database (NCD) to provide access to information on over 8 lakh cooperatives and approximately 30 crore members. Launched on March 8, 2024, the NCD is continuously updated by States and Union Territories, capturing data on various parameters to aid policymakers and strengthen the cooperative movement.
