Launch of Nationwide Swadeshi 4G Network in India

Union Minister Jyotiraditya M. Scindia announced the upcoming launch of a nationwide Swadeshi 4G network, which is fully upgradable to 5G, by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This initiative includes the rollout of nearly 98,000 mobile 4G towers, enhancing connectivity for 22 million customers and aiming for 100% 4G saturation across India. The indigenous technology stack developed by BSNL, Tejas Network, and C-DOT marks a significant step towards India's telecom self-reliance and positions the country as a global hub for telecom equipment manufacturing.
