Launch of Notary Portal by Ministry of Law and Justice

The Ministry of Law and Justice has launched the Notary Portal to digitize legal services related to the Notaries Act, 1952 and the Notaries Rules, 1956. This new online platform streamlines the process for appointments, issuance, and maintenance of Notary Certificates of Practice, increasing transparency and efficiency. Since its inception, more than 36,000 digitally signed Certificates have already been published for Notaries across India.
