Launch of PM-DAKSH Scheme for Skill Training
The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment has launched the PM-DAKSH Scheme to provide skill training to marginalized communities including SCs, OBCs, EWSs, and transgender persons. The scheme aims to enhance employability and entrepreneurship among these groups, with over 73,150 trainees successfully placed in jobs since its inception. The initiative also includes a sub-scheme for the rehabilitation of transgender individuals, providing them with skill development training and entrepreneurship programs.
