Launch of PM Dhan-Dhaanya Yojana and Self-Reliance in Pulses Mission

Union Agriculture Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan announced the launch of two major initiatives by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on October 11, 2025, aimed at enhancing farmers' income and strengthening the agricultural sector. The initiatives include the PM Dhan-Dhaanya Yojana and the Self-Reliance in Pulses Mission, which aim to expand pulse cultivation and improve productivity. Over 1,100 projects worth ₹42,000 crore will also be inaugurated, focusing on agriculture, animal husbandry, fisheries, and food processing.
