Launch of PM JANMAN for PVTG Development
The Union Minister of State for Tribal Affairs announced the launch of the Pradhan Mantri Janjati Adivasi Nyaya MahaAbhiyan (PM JANMAN) aimed at the socio-economic development of 75 Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTGs) across 18 states and one Union Territory. The initiative focuses on providing essential facilities such as housing, clean water, education, health services, and livelihood opportunities over three years, implemented through various ministries. Data collection and awareness camps are also part of the strategy to support PVTGs in accessing government benefits.
