Launch of PM JANMAN for Tribal Communities

On November 15, 2023, Prime Minister launched the Pradhan Mantri Janjati Adivasi Nyaya Maha Abhiyan (PM JANMAN) aimed at the socio-economic development of 75 Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTG) across 18 states and one Union Territory. The initiative focuses on providing essential facilities such as safe housing, clean drinking water, education, health, and sustainable livelihoods over three years, with a budget of ₹24,104 Cr. Awareness camps have been organized to assist communities in obtaining necessary documentation for various government schemes.
