Launch of Second Phase of NAKSHA Capacity Building Programme

The Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India, will launch the second phase of the NAKSHA capacity-building programme on June 2, 2025. This phase will train 304 officers from Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) across five Centres of Excellence, focusing on modern geospatial technologies for urban property surveys. The initiative aims to enhance land survey accuracy as India's urban population is projected to exceed 600 million by 2031.
