The Government of India is set to launch Special Campaign 5.0 from October 2 to 31, 2025, focusing on cleanliness and the resolution of pending matters in government offices. The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) will lead this initiative, building on the successes of Special Campaign 4.0, which included the disposal of numerous files and resolution of public grievances. The new campaign will emphasize e-waste disposal, record management, office beautification, and accelerated grievance redressal, aligning with India's digital transformation and sustainable development goals.
