The Government of India has initiated Special Campaign 5.0 aimed at promoting cleanliness (Swachhata) and reducing pending tasks. The preparatory phase runs from September 15-30, 2025, followed by the implementation phase from October 2-31, 2025. The Central Public Works Department (CPWD) is developing an action plan for cleanliness in its offices nationwide, focusing on record reviews, space management, and e-waste management.
