Launch of Special Campaign 5.0 by Department of Pension and Pensioners’ Welfare

The Department of Pension & Pensioners’ Welfare (DoPPW) has initiated Special Campaign 5.0 aimed at reducing pending matters, promoting cleanliness, and improving record-keeping. The campaign targets the disposal of 7,500 public grievances, review of 2,409 physical and 5,300 electronic files, and the identification of 20 rules to enhance the ease of living for pensioners. A dedicated monitoring group will oversee progress, and the campaign was formally launched with the shredding of old records.
