Launch of Unified RERA Portal at Central Advisory Council Meeting

Union Minister Shri Manohar Lal launched the Unified RERA Portal during the 5th Meeting of the Central Advisory Council, aimed at enhancing transparency and accountability in the real estate sector. The meeting reviewed the implementation of RERA, discussed stalled projects, and emphasized the need for faster resolution of homebuyers' grievances. Key achievements over the past eight years include the establishment of regulatory authorities in 35 States/UTs and the disposal of over 147,000 complaints. The Council called for next-generation reforms to further strengthen RERA and protect homebuyers' interests.
