Launch of Viksit Bharat-G RAM G Act, 2025 for Rural Development
The Viksit Bharat-G RAM G Act, 2025, is a new legislation designed to enhance rural employment and development in India. The Act guarantees 125 days of unskilled wage employment per year to rural households, aiming to create productive rural assets in alignment with the vision of Viksit Bharat @2047. It repeals the Mahatma Gandhi NREGA from July 2026 and requires state governments to frame schemes consistent with its provisions.
