Launch of WaveX Media Tech Incubator to Support AVGC-XR Startups

The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Creative Technologies (IICT), has launched the WaveX Media Tech Incubator to support startups in the AVGC-XR sector. The incubator will provide mentorship, infrastructure, and real-world testing opportunities, operating in two phases: an active phase focused on intensive support and a passive phase for global showcasing. Applications for the first cohort are open until September 7, 2025, with 15 startups to be selected for the initial batch.
