Lok Sabha Speaker Pays Tribute to Indira Gandhi

On November 19, 2025, Lok Sabha Speaker Shri Om Birla paid floral tributes to former Prime Minister Smt. Indira Gandhi in the Central Hall of Samvidhan Sadan on her birth anniversary. The event was attended by various dignitaries including Union Minister Shri Kiren Rijiju, Leaders of Opposition Shri Mallikarjun Kharge and Shri Rahul Gandhi, as well as Members of Parliament and former Members. The portrait of Smt. Gandhi was unveiled in 1987 by then President Shri R. Venkataraman.
