Maldives Foreign Minister's Visit to India Strengthens Bilateral Ties

H.E. Dr. Abdulla Khaleel, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Maldives, visited India from May 25-27, 2025. During his visit, he led the 2nd India-Maldives High Level Core Group meeting, focusing on the implementation of the Comprehensive Economic and Maritime Security Partnership. Dr. Khaleel condemned a recent terrorist attack in India and expressed solidarity, while also thanking India for financial assistance to Maldives. Bilateral discussions with India's External Affairs Minister were held, and plans for the next HLCG meeting in Maldives were established, reinforcing the partnership between the two nations.
