Mediation Training Programme for Debt Recovery Tribunal Officers

The Department of Financial Services, in collaboration with the Supreme Court's Mediation and Conciliation Project Committee, organized a 40-hour mediation training program for presiding officers of Debt Recovery Tribunals and senior executives of Public Sector Banks from September 24 to 28, 2025. The program covered various topics including the concept of mediation, comparison with judicial processes, negotiation techniques, and the roles of stakeholders in mediation, particularly in relation to the Recovery of Debts and Bankruptcy Act and the SARFAESI Act.
