MHA Organizes 3rd Seminar on Integration with SEOCs to Tackle Disasters

The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) hosted the 3rd Seminar on Integration with State Emergency Operation Centres (SEOCs) under its Integrated Control Room for Emergency Response (ICR-ER). The seminar, conducted under the guidance of Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah, aimed to support Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's 10-point agenda for Disaster Risk Reduction and achieve 'Zero Casualty' during disasters. Emphasizing technological advancements and fostering synergy among SEOCs, the event included hands-on training on NDEM 5.0 and discussions on integrating Artificial Intelligence into disaster management strategies. Attendees from across States and UTs participated, enhancing cooperative disaster response preparedness, including a focus on upcoming Monsoon-2026.
