Minister Outlines Fund Allocation for Heritage Preservation

The Ministry of Culture has detailed the allocation and expenditure for the preservation of minority heritage and pilgrimage sites under the jurisdiction of the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI). The announcement, made by Union Minister for Culture and Tourism Gajendra Singh Shekhawat in the Lok Sabha, covers 3686 centrally protected monuments across India. Funding is allocated following the National Policy for Conservation, 2014, ensuring that conservation and promotion efforts continue nation-wide.
