Ministry Develops Facial Recognition System to Bolster Ration Distribution
The Ministry of Women and Child Development has introduced a Facial Recognition System within the Poshan Tracker Application to better monitor the distribution of Take-Home Rations. This system uses Aadhaar-based tracking to ensure benefits reach registered beneficiaries while reducing leakages and eliminating ghost entries. Training is provided to Anganwadi Workers across states to effectively implement this system.
