Ministry of Coal Opens Bids for 12th Round of Commercial Coal Blocks’ Auction

The Ministry of Coal has opened bids for the 12th round of commercial coal blocks’ auction, receiving a strong response with 41 bids for 11 coal blocks. A total of 27 companies participated, including over 10 new entrants. The auction process was transparent, with online and offline bids opened in the presence of bidders. The bids will be evaluated by a Technical Evaluation Committee for further electronic auction on the MSTC portal.
