Ministry of Coal's Special Campaign 5.0 Promotes Cleanliness and Sustainability

The Ministry of Coal, under Special Campaign 5.0, has made significant strides in promoting cleanliness, efficiency, and sustainability within the coal sector. From October 2 to 31, 2025, 802 sites were cleaned, covering over 4 million square feet, and 4,763 MT of scrap was disposed of, generating Rs. 20 crores in revenue. Initiatives included the inauguration of bio-toilets, the transformation of a scrap room into a learning hub, construction of a greenhouse, and an 'E-Waste to Art' workshop for children, all aimed at fostering innovation and environmental responsibility.
