The National Cooperative Database (NCD) developed by the Ministry of Cooperation, Government of India, was launched to provide a centralized source of information on over 8.4 lakh cooperatives. The database, which began on 08 March 2024, is aimed at enhancing the management and transparency of cooperative societies, fostering the growth of the cooperative movement. Integration with various governmental databases promotes accurate data management.
