The Ministry of Culture, through the Raja Rammohun Roy Library Foundation (RRRLF), provides financial support for the development of public libraries in India. This includes funding for library resources, furniture, construction, and modernization of services. The assistance is based on eligible applications from State/UT Library Authorities, with detailed proposals sanctioned from 2014-15 to 2024-25.
