Ministry of Education Enhances Global Standing of Indian Higher Education Institutions

The Ministry of Education of India organized a half-day Orientation and Training Workshop on the QS World University Rankings to improve the global visibility and academic performance of Indian Higher Educational Institutions (HEIs). Conducted by QS Quacquarelli Symonds, the workshop aimed to enhance institutional understanding of global ranking parameters in line with the National Education Policy 2020. Leaders from various HEIs participated in the event to discuss strategies for strengthening global academic standing. Significant improvements in the QS rankings have been observed, with 54 institutions featuring in the 2026 edition.
