Ministry of Finance Highlights Achievements in Expenditure and Reforms for 2025-26

The Ministry of Finance's Department of Expenditure outlines significant achievements and reforms over 2025-26, including the enhancement of the Public Financial Management System (PFMS) and a robust Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) infrastructure. The department's efforts have facilitated efficient fund transfers for 966 schemes under the DBT initiative, totaling ₹2.87 Lakh Crore.
