Ministry of Finance Reports Success of ECLGS 5.0 with Over 4 Lakh Guarantees
The Emergency Credit Line Guarantee Scheme (ECLGS) 5.0 has issued over 4.11 lakh guarantees, benefiting mainly MSMEs and providing significant liquidity support amidst geopolitical challenges in West Asia. As of now, the scheme's guaranteed amount has surpassed ₹1.55 lakh crore, reflecting strong early momentum and a nationwide outreach initiative underway to facilitate further awareness and access to the scheme.
