Ministry of Health Implements Innovative Measures for Tribal Healthcare

The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, under the National Health Mission, has taken significant steps to enhance healthcare access in tribal areas across India. This includes the operationalization of 1,453 Mobile Medical Units and the establishment of 31,023 Ayushman Arogya Mandirs. The Pradhan Mantri Janjati Adivasi Nyaya Maha Abhiyan aims to further expand these services through relaxed norms and increased resources, particularly in areas with Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups.
