Ministry of Jal Shakti Hosts Workshop to Enhance Flood Forecasting
The Ministry of Jal Shakti, through the Central Water Commission, organized a stakeholders' workshop on flood forecasting and flood management DPRs in New Delhi. The event aimed to improve impact-based forecasting, decision-support systems, and better appraisal of flood management projects. Representatives from 27 States/UTs and 15 central agencies participated, discussing coordination, technical advancements, and procedural improvements in flood forecasting services.
