Ministry of Labour & Employment Partners with Zomato to Enhance Job Opportunities

The Ministry of Labour & Employment has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Zomato to create approximately 2.5 lakh job opportunities annually through the National Career Service (NCS) portal. This partnership aims to integrate gig economy roles into the formal employment system, providing technology-enabled livelihoods for youth and women. The NCS portal has mobilized over 7.7 crore vacancies since its launch in 2015, and this collaboration is expected to further strengthen the job market and social security for workers in India.
