Ministry of Law and Justice Expands Tele-Law Programme for Enhanced Legal Access

The Ministry of Law and Justice, under the Designing Innovative Solutions for Holistic Access to Justice (DISHA) Scheme, has expanded the Tele-Law programme to connect citizens with legal professionals via Video and Tele-Conferencing through Common Service Centres across India. The initiative has reached over 1.12 crore beneficiaries as of January 2026, providing pre-litigation advice and legal assistance, especially targeting marginalized communities.
