The Department of Justice, under the Ministry of Law and Justice, has initiated the identification and cataloguing of obsolete electronic items as part of Special Campaign 5.0. This initiative aims to promote responsible e-waste disposal and environmental sustainability. Senior officers conducted inspections to ensure compliance with regulations for disposing of identified electronic waste through the GeM portal. The campaign runs from October 2 to October 31, 2025, focusing on clearing pending matters and public grievances.
