Key amendments include the exclusion of non-feasible portions of mining blocks, introducing a unified mining portal, adjusting upfront payment timelines, and offering incentives for early mine operationalisation. Private Exploration Agencies can now participate in auctions of all mineral block types they explore. These reforms aim to boost transparency, efficiency, and private sector involvement in India's mining industry.
