Ministry of Mines Launches ₹1,500 Crore Critical Mineral Recycling Scheme
The Ministry of Mines has issued guidelines for a ₹1,500 crore incentive scheme aimed at promoting critical mineral recycling in India. The scheme, approved by the Union Cabinet, is part of the National Critical Mineral Mission and focuses on developing recycling capacity for critical minerals from e-waste and spent Lithium-ion batteries. Applications for the scheme are open from October 2, 2025, to April 1, 2026, targeting both established and new recyclers.
