Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs Organizes National Youth Parliament Competitions

The Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs conducts annual National Youth Parliament Competitions for students of Kendriya Vidyalayas, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas, Eklavya Model Residential Schools, and higher education institutions to foster democratic values and educate students about parliamentary processes. With collaboration from Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, and National Education Society for Tribal Students, the competitions aim at building discipline, tolerance, and knowledge about Indian Parliament functioning. Participation is available both physically and digitally through NYPS 2.0. Financial assistance is also provided to States and Union Territories as reimbursement.
