Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment Records Highest Expenditure in FY 2025-26
The Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment has reported a record expenditure of Rs. 11,810.82 crore for FY 2025-26, marking a 14% increase from the previous year. This expenditure, the highest ever, underscores government efforts towards welfare schemes for disadvantaged communities, including Scheduled Castes, Other Backward Classes, and other vulnerable groups such as sanitation workers and transgender persons.
