Ministry of Steel Issues Advisory on NOC Applications for Steel Import
The Ministry of Steel has issued an advisory regarding the repeated applications for No Objection Certificates (NOC) for steel imports, which are often rejected. Companies can appeal the rejection within three months through the SIMS portal. The Appellate Committee will review the appeals and make decisions within 15 days, allowing applicants to present their case in person or via video conference.
