Ministry of Textiles Launches Integrated Textile Parks Scheme

The Ministry of Textiles is implementing the Scheme for Integrated Textile Park (SITP) to enhance investments, create jobs, and boost textile exports. The scheme, which was active until March 2021, is now part of the Textile Cluster Development Scheme (TCDS) for ongoing projects. A total of 50 parks were sanctioned, with 30 completed and 20 in various stages of implementation, generating employment for 1.23 lakh people. Additionally, PM Mega Integrated Textile Regions and Apparel (PM MITRA) Parks have been finalized at seven sites with a budget of Rs. 4,445 crore for 2027-28.
