To enhance their income and welfare, the Ministry is implementing the National Handloom Development Programme and the Raw Material Supply Scheme, which provide financial assistance and subsidies for materials. An online portal for registration and e-pehchan cards has also been launched, facilitating the inclusion of additional handloom workers.
